I originally found Rainbow Property Services after searching the Yellow pages of all things – I contacted three building firms and Rainbow had the most ‘complete’ business backed up with references. The work required on my property included a new kitchen, new bathroom, re-plastered walls to separate rooms and installing new banisters.

Kevin was prompt for all site meetings with quotes produced when he said they would be. Costs were not the cheapest but neither the most expensive. He commenced the project exactly on schedule, even after the start date changed several times due to completion dates on the property purchase.

The deadline to complete was fixed due to arrival of carpets allowing a matter weeks to completion. The team that arrived on-site were hard-working and trustworthy. The work-rate was high, but not at the expense of quality.

The end result is clean, tidy and well-constructed and above all else completed exactly on schedule. In short, a success.

I am very pleased with both work and experience of dealing with Rainbow and intend to use them again later this year.

Old customer writing to a new one

At the beginning of June 06, I was in the process of purchasing a new property in Hove.

Further to surveys I had done, I was led to believe that certain work needed to be carried out.

I contacted a couple of Building Companies and was given very different quotes - who never followed up on them either and where not very helpful and I got the feeling they maybe taking advantage of a single woman by themselves.

I found Kevin Viney's details through the internet and called. Kevin spent a considerable time talking to me and assured me that he would go and view the property as soon as possible.

Due to my work commitments, it was difficult for me to contact the estate agents to arrange this. Kevin advised that he would arrange everything for me and did so. Within a day I had a sensible quote for the work and agreed to use Kevin's company. Whilst the purchase was going through, Kevin kept in regular contact with me - always advising of when he could fit me in.

Finally I moved in and Kevin came to see me a day later. He was very polite and friendly and I felt that I could trust him. He arranged for the work to be done a couple of weeks later. He was very respectful of my property and completed the work with no mess or rubbish left behind and the work was very good quality.

Again due to my work commitments is was difficult to meet with Kevin to settle the balance and discuss the work done - however we arranged to meet prior to their normal work hours which was extremely helpful and meant I could get to work on time. I have no hesitation in recommending Kevin and Rainbow Building Services. He is friendly, trustworthy, polite and knowledgeable company and I will always go back to use them for advise or further works.
