House Extension Brighton

One of our last jobs was rebuilding a single garage into a 2 storey building. In fact, we had to rebuild the whole building. Despite the range of the project, all the jobs were done in time and we left another satisfied customer.

The work we implemented includes:

  • Removed existing structure, in this case a single garage
  • Muck away
  • Dug out Footings
  • Build foundations
  • Build Block and Beam
  • Build Damp Course DPC
  • Lay Brick and Block to create shell
  • Build roof Trusts
  • Felt and Batten and tile roof
  • Install window and doors to (FENSA) standard
  • Build Stud partitions
  • 1st fix - All electrics (NICEIC standard) and pipe work
  • Fit Plasterboard
  • Re-skim walls and ceiling
  • 2nd fix - All built in cupboards, fit Kitchen and Bathrooms
  • Paint and decorate throughout to customer specification

We work closely with the local authorities, during the 2 storey extension the Building Inspector from Building Control will visit the site and approve the various stages.
